Just a few words to thank you for the wonderful holiday we enjoyed aboard one of you house boats (S.M.R. Merrickville) during the week of August 9 - 15, 2003.

Despite the "battery" problems we encountered on our first few days, your team (Ton Lamer, Marty and others), were prompt to respond to our call for assistance. Thanks to their professionalism, pleasant demeanor and willingness to compensate us for the inconvenience, they transformed a situation which could have ruined part of our holiday into an adventure and allowed us to continue our wonderful expedition without undue delay.

For all of this we are grateful and wish you continued success with your "Waterway Get-A-Way Houseboat Vacations" endeavor.

Dear Gentlemen,

I have received your letter and the magnificent shirt, I really appreciate the professionallism way you take care of your customers. I have been in the sales business all my life and I can see when people are honest and caretaking and you my friends, I give you 10 on 10. It is sad that what appened, appened but that's the way it goes, I can say that even with what appened, Don took care of business like a gentlemen. He did everything he could to satisfy us be sure that our comments to our friends are at the most appreciative and be sure that if I can do it this year I will for sure go back to make that trip, if I can't this year it will be next year but I will be back to see you guys. Thank you for the check and I wish you a very good season.

P.S. Excuse my english I don't get many chances to write in the langue of Shakespear often, so there might be a couple of errors, blame it on the keyboard.

Doug, Marty and gang at Waterway.....,

We had a great week, no major problems, didn't sink anyone (although there were a couple we would have liked to!) The gas mileage was incredible we traveled from Smiths Falls to Merrikville, Westport, Seeley Bay as far as Lower Brewers. The Lock grounds and waterway are beautiful and with the summer season at an end we pretty much had the locks to ourselves.

You had a great crew working for you! We will certainly recommend Waterway Getaway to our friends.
